Hello! My name is Miles Nichols, a multimedia artist who specializes in oil paints. I am studying art and anthropology at uni with hopes to synthesize both! My current focus on art is learning to let go and not caring about realism. Doing this has led me to employ childlike themes and wonder into my current art! My focus is looking at how we can synthesize global internet culture and expressionism. Expressionism came at a time of unrest during WW2. With the looming threat of wars and the literal end of the world, we should look at past examples of how others expressed grief through art even when art was inaccessible. I see these threats looming all around me and I laugh through it all because thats one of the few things we can do as individuals. My art is one way of showing that.
